The Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, is set to host a three-day Research Workshop and Exhibition aimed at deepening academic innovation and promoting research commercialization among staff and students.
According to a circular signed by the Acting Registrar, Mr. Godswill E. Udofah (MNIM), the event themed: “Research for Impact”, is organized by the Polytechnic’s Directorate of Research and Development. It will take place from Monday, November 10 to Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the Polytechnic’s Library Conference Hall, beginning at 10:00 a.m. daily.
The workshop will feature key presentations on Research Commercialisation on Day 1, and sessions on National Research Fund (NRF) Concept Note Writing on Days 2 and 3. In addition, an exhibition showcasing innovative products from various schools within the Polytechnic will be on display.
The Acting Registrar noted that the programme underscores the institution’s commitment to fostering a culture of research and innovation that addresses societal needs. He urged all staff and students to participate actively as a demonstration of their support for academic excellence.
